Your mission :
As a Project Engineer for our solar thermal demonstrator project, you will work in designing, developing, and implementing a proof-of-concept for solar sterilization using steam from concentrated solar thermal collectors
As a Project Engineer for our solar thermal demonstrator project, you will work in designing, developing, and implementing a proof-of-concept for solar sterilization using steam from concentrated solar thermal collectors
Main duties and responsibilities include :
- Implement a solar thermal system based on concentrating parabolic trough and compound parabolic collectors
- Design mechanical components using CAD/CAE software, execute prototyping, and manage design iterations
- Apply expertise in fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer to perform thermal analysis and enhance system efficiency.
- Conduct testing and analysis to validate system functionality and efficiency.
- Work closely with the engineering team on the implementation site, external partners and suppliers.
- Reporting and maintaining detailed project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and test results.
- Complete general maintenance tasks of laboratory vacuum systems
Description du profil
Your profile :
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with 3D drawing software tools (SolidWorks, Autodesk)
- Practical knowledge of prototyping manufacturing process
- Previous experience in project management an advantage
- Previous experience with vacuum systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in English and French
