Are you a good match?

You have a university degree in architectural studies and a confirmed experience in a luxury retail environment or equivalent.

You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and project management skills, as well as a good sense of luxury aesthetic and retail operation considerations.

You acquired an ability to interface with all levels of management and stakeholders, to handle multiple projects, as well as a strong understanding of construction means, methods & materials and related building code requirements.

You are proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft office, project, and you master English + French languages.

What are we expecting from you?

As a direct report of the Regional Retail Director of Europe-CIS, you will be in charge of the delivery of new boutiques opening and renovation projects for the Region. You will be the main contact for the local retail teams, local vendors & contractors, local architects, as well as for the Maison Architecture & Store Planning headquarter team. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the image of the Maison is consistently maintained throughout the network's physical presentation.

You will oversee a European geographical scope (United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Turkey, Kazakhstan) and supervise a team of 5 people.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Open new boutiques, offices and renovate boutiques in Europe-CIS region

  • Partner with local teams to formalize and prepare boutiques project brief including project budget, design concept, layout proposal and implementation schedule, and assist markets in the validation of new boutique projects.
  • Work closely with counterparts in headquarter to get appropriate validation and ensure Maison's image is met on each project.
  • Liaise with local markets to identify maintenance needs in each boutique and ensure the follow-up of maintenance work with local contractors.
  • Be responsible for detail drawing and material submission, manufacturer review and supply delivery, installation and onsite inspection.
  • Monitor and track plan submission, permit applications and landlord approvals.
  • Review, qualify, select and negotiate with consultants, architects and vendors.
  • Manage project execution with local contractors and architects to ensure efficient, on-time and on-budget execution of projects.
  • Provide recommendations and technical solutions on fit out works and architectural matters.
  • Maintain detailed project schedules and share communication updates with headquarters.
  • Ensure all project executions meet local legal requirement and are managed in a cost-effective manner including close monitoring on quality & budget control, payment processing.
  • Orchestrate SDP projects priority in the Region, visibility and arbitration together with Markets.
  • Be responsible for office expansion and new offices layout, validation and implementation.

    Manage CAPEX
  • Estimate boutique projects budget and follow-up on actual costs of each project against budget.
  • Supervise tender documents and process
  • Update CAPEX files accordingly and assist in the budget and LE process for CAPEX.

    Develop Regional SDP Team
  • Develop SDP Regional team technical & project management expertise
  • Foster the team spirit, resilience and output in a context of strong business growth
  • Develop the capability of the Regional Team in integrating better sustainable working practices
  • Keep abreast of market information, local trends, new materials & manufacturers, etc.

    Animate the Store Planning/Retail Ops community across the EUR CIS region
  • Provide assistance to local markets Retail Ops teams in resources management
  • Develop, rationalize and share common SDP practices across the region
  • Strengthen SDP expertise across the Europe-CIS region
  • Work on SDP talent recruitment & retention In collaboration with local markets
