ACTION is one of the fastest growing retail companies in Europe with more than 2,300 stores and 80'000 employees in eleven countries. As part of its launch on the Swiss market, we are looking to recruit a Head of HR (m/f/d) to support the development and growth of the business in Switzerland.

As part of the country management team, you will report directly to the Country General Manager with a dotted line to the Head of HR Operations. Your mission is set up a future proof HR function within the company guidelines. You shape a scalable HR department with company and local law compliant HR policies , processes and systems to support the Swiss business with their growth ambition.
Policy/Strategy
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Group's HR strategy, policies and instruments
- Translate the Group HR strategy into local HR policies and instruments and realise highly effective execution of these
- Set up the Country People Plan in cooperation with the management team
- Create a policy framework and oversee its implementation
HR frameworks and tools
- Recruitment and employer branding
- Social legal relations, compensation & benefits
- Health & safety compliancy, management of mandatory trainings
- Management & talent development
- Support localisation of Success Factors
- Deliver input for the compliant configuration of the planning and time registration tool
Operational Management
- Initiate, plan, implement and coordinate HR related activities and projects
- Ensure proper introduction and implementation of changes in the organisation
- Support the business with all HR related queries, and act as a first point of contact for senior management on HR policy issues as well as strategic and tactical questions
- Coordinate and execute recruitment activities
People Management
- Act as a mentor or coach with the objective to develop the skills and competences of the employees
- Create a work environment in which employees are continuously stimulated to develop themselves and to improve their performance
- Responsible for an optimal staffing, recruitment activities and employees retention
- People Manager for the HR Advisors and HR support role
Description du profil
- Relevant business degree and/or HR education/certification
- At least 12 years of relevant HR working experience out of which eight in a management role
- Good insights in local labour market and market practices on employee benefits
- Experience within the retail industry is a must have
- Exposure with a start-up and/or a fast-growing environment is a plus
- Excellent English language skills (verbal/written), any additional local language is a plus
- Pro-active, well-organised, customer focused and result driven personality
- Ability to structure activities and projects as well as to stick to agreements within deadlines and according to guidelines
- High level of determination and patience with outstanding influencing skills
- Consensus building approach combined with a high level of pragmatism
