For one of our clients operating in a high-tech and demanding industrial environment, we are looking for an experienced:
Assembly & Integration TechnicianPermanent position | Switzerland
Responsabilités
- Assemble and integrate solid-propellant rocket motor components in strict accordance with assembly procedures, technical drawings and work instructions.
- Perform mechanical fastening, torqueing, sealing and bonding operations during final motor assembly.
- Carry out pre- and post-assembly inspections, verifying component identity, batch numbers and conformity at each stage of production.
- Complete assembly records and production documentation accurately, ensuring full traceability of components and sub-assemblies.
- Package completed rocket motors and energetic sub-assemblies for internal transfer or external shipment in accordance with applicable ADR/SDR transport regulations and internal packaging procedures.
- Handle and store energetic components, including propellant grains and initiators, in accordance with applicable safety protocols and site procedures.
- Support incoming inspections of mechanical parts and sub-assemblies, identify non-conformities and quarantine potentially non-compliant items.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe assembly environment.
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of assembly processes and procedures.
Profil
- Completed vocational training as a Polymechaniker/in, Produktionsmechaniker/in, or equivalent technical qualification and practical experience.
- Several years of hands-on experience in precision mechanical assembly.
- Experience in a regulated or safety-critical environment such as aerospace, defence, medical devices, weapons or ammunition manufacturing would be highly valued.
- Confident using precision hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Practical experience with torque tools, adhesives, sealants and mechanical fittings.
- Ability to read and work accurately from technical drawings, exploded views and written work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding assembly records, quality documentation and full component traceability.
- Previous experience handling or assembling products containing energetic, pyrotechnic or hazardous materials would be a significant advantage.
- Safety-conscious, disciplined and procedure-driven, with a strong sense of personal responsibility for the quality of each finished product.
- Fluent in German or English.
