Our client is a well-known organization, intersecting sciences, pharma and business. We are searching a scientific driven and business oriented senior leader as the new CEO.

As the CEO, you will have the chance to:

• Uphold and champion organization's foundational principles, heritage and purpose
• Direct the execution of the strategy, ensuring alignment with the organizational priorities
• Oversee the planning, management, and successful delivery of all major events
• Foster close collaboration with the organization's Executive Committee and leadership Officers including the President, Secretary General, and Treasurer
• Foster and execute collaborative efforts with industry partners and medical associations
• Nurture growth, innovation and transformation initiatives, ensuring they deliver sustainable value for the organization and its members
• Provide transformational leadership to staff, focusing on development, motivation, and ensuring an effective team structure
• Liaise with senior stakeholders in Committees, Working Groups, and Task Forces, ensuring synergy in collaborative efforts
• Represent the organization with distinction, providing regular updates to the Board of Directors and producing an insightful annual report

We are looking for someone with:

• More than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• More than 8 years of leadership experience as Chief Executive Officer, General Manager or other managerial role, also in a medical association, NGO or non-profit organization
• High identification with the purpose of the organization as a leading society operating at the intersection of science, medicine and care
• Knowledge / networking in the European healthcare and life science sector (including its industry players, the regulatory context and key trends)
• A proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies and transformation programs
• Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams towards a common purpose
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen with broad experience in strategy, corporate development, business planning, project management and effective operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with senior stakeholders and partners
• Broad knowledge of general management best practices across strategy, finance, controlling, HR, operations, governance, compliance and risk management
• Highest professional standards, setting an exemplary standard for the entirety of the organization
• Solid analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA or other advanced degree
• Excellent proficiency in English, with an additional European language proficiency
• Willingness to travel internationally
