Our client is an international company, commodity trading house, leader in its industry, based in Geneva.

Description du poste

  • Supports and at times leads the development and implementation of process improvement projects globally. Supports the identification of projects including the set up and maintenance of a project portfolio structure.
  • As assigned, liaises with stakeholders to start a process improvement project. Plans and executes the full project.
  • As assigned, executes specific process improvement projects including scoping, planning, kick off, facilitation, mapping of activities, documentation, identification of opportunities for improvement which could be related to process, people, or technology, etc. The initial scoping includes identifying and measuring the initial metrics used to size up opportunities. Plans and executes the improvement implementation in conjunction with the stakeholders after the appropriate internal approvals.
  • At the completion of the project and along with key stakeholders, leads the identification of KPIs to be implemented to measure improvements vis-à-vis the initial metrics.
  • Liaises internally with the front system experts for system related improvements
  • Helps identify and coordinates activities to standardize (where it makes sense) processes globally, implement KPIs and reports in areas to the trade to cash model.

Description du profil

  • Approximately 7-15 years of working experience or more in similar roles, preferably in the banking or commodity industry.
  • Demonstrated active leadership / participation in business continuous improvement projects.
  • Process mapping experience including data extraction capability - from different systems. Ability to convert data into information upon limited coaching.
  • Excellent aptitude for numbers, analysis and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding for risk identification, analysis, debate and resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams without having direct reporting lines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Clear ability to document issues in a narrative approach.
  • Good facilitation skills.
  • Comfortable in communication with peers, exposure in communication with middle management levels
  • Ability to be flexible and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
