We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Lausanne. The role involves contributing to the design and optimization of electrical systems while working on a variety of challenging projects within a dynamic team.

Responsabilities :

• Proven experience in designing electrical cabinets for power distribution and control.
• Select appropriate electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, relays, contactors, and control devices to meet the design specifications and project requirements
• Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, including interconnection details and control logic
• Establish production lines and capabilities with vetted vendors for at scale production.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and reports, that can be communicated with external parties.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, industry standards, and safety regulations in the design of electrical cabinets norms and lead certification efforts. Outsourcing of cabinet manufacturing to external collaborators and leading and participating in FAT testing with established vendors
• Ellaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure the successful integration of the electrical cabinet into the overall system.

Profile :

• BSc degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of electrical and power systems engineering principles, including power distribution, circuit analysis, control systems, and electrical components.
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
• Strong knowledge of power system analysis software (e.g., PLECS).
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as IEC, NEC, and ISO, as well as knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to identify and solve complex electrical design issues, including troubleshooting and debugging electrical systems
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in the design process.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining highquality work
