Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex international event projects, from initial planning through execution and post-event evaluation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and operational strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external partners to guarantee seamless project execution.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to proactively address project challenges.
- Manage project budgets, financial tracking, forecasting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, service excellence, and attention to detail across all deliverables.
- Provide regular project updates and maintain clear communication between all stakeholders.
- Lead problem-solving efforts and make informed decisions in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
- Support business development activities through the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client recommendations.
- Coordinate and contribute to tender processes and competitive proposals, ensuring high-quality and strategically aligned submissions.
- Present project plans, operational recommendations, and event concepts to clients and senior decision-makers.
- Travel internationally as required to support project planning and on-site event delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, confidentiality requirements, and professional standards.
Profile
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in international event management, project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex projects for corporate, institutional, or global clients.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high levels of quality and client satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Professional fluency in both English and French; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Experience leading or supporting tender submissions, proposals, or competitive pitch processes.
- International mindset with flexibility to travel frequently when required.
