Our client, a multinational manufacturer, is seeking an Office & Facility Manager proficient in both German and English who is available at short notice for a 12-month contract. The role is part-time (50%) and ideally requires on-site presence in Effretikon on a daily basis.
Description du poste
- Supervising daily office operations, including managing office supplies, mail, and equipment
- Coordinating with vendors to address facility needs such as cleaning, maintenance, and repairs
- Implementing and overseeing office policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with the IT department to manage office equipment for new hires and departures, as well as company car administration
- Planning and overseeing central facility services such as reception, security, cleaning, waste disposal, and parking
- Handling contract negotiations and pricing with office vendors, service providers, and office lease agreements
- Monitoring facilities and grounds to mitigate potential risks to property and personnel
- Conducting equipment and storage inspections to detect any tampering and report irregularities
- Organizing the clearance of the basement archive, disposing of unnecessary items
- Providing support with tender processes, including document supplementation and information gathering
Description du profil
- Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with a focus on business administration, facilities management, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant
- Understanding of office administrator duties, systems, and protocols
- Familiarity with fundamental principles of facility management
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English and German, French and/or Italian is advantageous
- Competence in MS Office applications, particularly MS Office package, MS Outlook and video conferencing tools (Teams)
- Exceptional time management abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and planning skills, especially in fast-paced environments
