Description du poste

  • Provide HR support and advice to designated groups or business units, responding to requests, analyzing situations, interpreting policies and guidelines, and recommending practical and effective solutions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers in the supported units, fostering a trusting and consultative relationship across all levels of management and staff.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the units' strategies and operations, establishing relationships with senior management to enhance the overall capability for people management within the unit.
  • Enhance manager and staff knowledge of HR policies and practices through regular updates and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with relevant managers to oversee the recruitment and selection process for both internal and external candidates, from the initiation of job descriptions and position requirements to conducting reference checks, extending offers, and facilitating relocation support if necessary.
  • Provide leadership and guidance across a comprehensive range of Human Resources activities, including but not limited to employee relations, conflict resolution, employee grievances, benefits and compensation, the full employee lifecycle (including separations), diversity and inclusion, workplace health initiatives, learning and development, workforce planning, and organizational structure.
  • Act as a liaison with the HR Partner for Corporate Services to assist with the application and interpretation of HR policies and processes.
  • Ensure the timely and effective completion of all performance development cycle activities, enhancing the ability of managers and staff to develop performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promptly escalate any unresolved issues or significant risks to the Head of Global HR Operations.
  • Actively engage in the design and planning of global HR programs and initiatives, leading their implementation within the designated portfolio of units.
  • Maintain responsibility for the data integrity of the HR Systems within their portfolio.
  • Keep abreast of local regulations and current best practices in Human Resources.

Description du profil

  • A strategic thinker with a solid background in HR management and a proven track record of leadership in a global setting.
  • An effective communicator and collaborator, capable of building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.
  • Someone with a deep understanding of HR best practices and the ability to apply them in a global context.
  • French is a plus, English is mandatory.
