Our client, a prestigious international school located in the canton of Vaud, is seeking a

qualified and experienced School Nurse (M/F/D)

to join its dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide professional, evidence-based nursing care to students, staff, and visitors while promoting physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing within the school community.

Responsabilités

• Proven experience in child, adolescent, or school nursing

• Previous work in an international or boarding school environment is an asset

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

• Good understanding of mental health awareness and student wellbeing

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• IT literacy and ability to maintain accurate medical records

Profil

• Registered Nurse (Swiss-recognised qualification or Croix-Rouge equivalency)

• Fluent in both English and French

• Valid driving licence
  

• Deliver high-quality nursing services to students, staff, and visitors
• Assess and manage injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions
• Administer medications and vaccinations according to Swiss legal requirements
• Develop and maintain individual care plans in collaboration with house staff and parents
• Provide confidential counselling, health education, and first aid
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and compliance with Swiss data protection standards

• Health Promotion & Safeguarding

• Promote health education and wellbeing initiatives across the school
• Support the safeguarding and child protection framework, reporting concerns as required
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FOPH guidelines and Swiss health standards

• Administration & Collaboration

• Manage the daily operations of the Health Centre
• Maintain medical stock and ensure adherence to health and safety procedures
• Liaise with internal and external healthcare professionals
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development
