We are seeking anEnglish-qualified lawyer, focusing on banking and general commercial matters.This role is ideal for someone with 1-5 years of post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on legal aspects of internationalcontracts for the sale or purchase of material
  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, securitydocuments, and financial contracts
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and financiallaws
  • Support structured finance, project finance, and realestate finance transactions
  • Provide legal support across various departmentsincluding corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
  • Draft and review contracts and internal policies
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on diverselegal topics
  • Assist in dispute resolution and liaise with externalcounsel when needed
  • Participate in client meetings and negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal andexternal stakeholders
  • Stay updated on legal developments and advise onimplications for the business


Your Profile

  • Law degree and bar admission, preferably in a common lawor mixed common/civil law jurisdiction
  • 1-5 years PQE in banking, finance, or general commerciallaw
  • English mother tongue, proficiency with the Italianlanguage will be a very strong plus
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasksunder pressure
  • High level of professional ethics and integrity
