Join a leading global player in the commodity trading industry, based in Geneva. The company operates at the forefront of commodity markets, with a dynamic and diverse team driving innovation and growth. We are seeking a skilled Middle Officer to join the Geneva office and contribute to the continued success of the company.

• Work closely with the trading desk to understand their strategy and provide support and challenge as needed
• Execute and oversee deal entry, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Produce daily P&L statements, analysing key drivers and providing insight to traders
• Monitor and manage risk profile of trading activities, in line with agreed risk limits and appetite
• Facilitate strong communication and collaboration with traders and other teams within the organisation
• Implement and enhance controls to improve trading processes and mitigate risk
• Liaise with back office, trade support and other relevant teams to ensure smooth operations

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field
• 5+ years of experience in commodity trading middle office or similar role
• Strong understanding of physical commodity markets and trading processes
• Proficiency in ETRM systems and tools
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in French being advantageous
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
