We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced E-commerce Marketplace Associate to oversee and optimize the company's presence on key online marketplaces, including Amazon, Farfetch, and others, across the U.S., EU, Middle-East, and Asian markets. The person will report to the Global Head of Digital Marketing and will develop and execute strategies that drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and ensure seamless marketplace operations. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and boosting customer engagement across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Performance & Reporting
- Develop and grow sales, market share, and expand the company's presence across Amazon, Farfetch, and other relevant marketplace platforms.
- Identify and launch new marketplace opportunities aligned with business-growth objectives.
- Optimize product catalogue and visibility across all marketplaces.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, conversion rates, traffic trends, and customer behaviours, then make data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare regular management reports that highlight key trends and actionable insights.
Product Listings & Content Optimization
- Oversee product setup, listing optimisation, and content enhancement to improve discoverability and conversion.
- Conduct keyword research and SEO optimisation for product descriptions, titles, and A+ Content.
- Ensure product data are accurate, up to date, and compliant with each marketplace's requirements.
- Collaborate with creative teams to maintain consistent brand identity across all platforms.
Advertising & Marketing Initiatives
- Plan and execute marketplace advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, DSP, Display Ads, etc.) to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Manage budgets and optimise ad performance based on ROAS and ACoS.
- Work with the marketing team to align marketplace promotions with overall brand campaigns.
Operations & Inventory Management
- Coordinate with logistics and supply-chain teams to ensure stock availability and minimise out-of-stock situations.
- Oversee demand forecasting and inventory planning to meet marketplace requirements.
- Manage relationships with marketplace account managers to troubleshoot issues and maximise opportunities.
Financial & Compliance
- Ensure accurate invoicing and financial reconciliation by verifying that invoices match marketplace sales (net of returns, fraud, and cancellations).
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to track payments, commissions, and deductions.
- Ensure full compliance with marketplace policies, terms of service, and best practices.
- Monitor customer reviews and feedback to improve product positioning and brand reputation.
- Address operational issues-listings, returns, customer enquiries-in partnership with the customer-service team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.
- 4+ years' experience with a strong grasp of marketplace operations.
- Familiarity with marketplace interfaces (Amazon Seller Central, Storm, Mirakl, etc.).
- Experience with premium or luxury brands is a plus.
- Solid understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply-chain coordination.
- Hands-on experience in digital marketing, marketplace advertising, and campaign optimisation.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and making strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and project-management abilities; comfortable working cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and marketplace-management tools.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (French, German, Spanish) are a plus.
- Swiss nationality, C or B residence permit, or EU citizenship.
